The world of healthcare has entered an era of radical innovation. Telemedicine, Big Data, artificial intelligence, robotics and genomics: these emerging disciplines are making lightning progress, propelling the advent of more predictive, preventive, personalized and participative medicine. National healthcare systems, plagued by inertia, face the challenge of continuous adaptation. At the heart of these developments must remain the human factor, because technology is ultimately only a tool at the service of medical professionals and patients.

What is the role of the human being as innovation in healthcare accelerates? To address this question , the Cercle de Belém invites you to its next symposium; on Thursday, April 5, 2018from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.at Numa (Paris 2nd).

Our three round-table discussions will feature international experts from the American and European academic worlds, as well as intellectuals - philosophers and economists - with cross-disciplinary perspectives on these issues.

To encourage people to get to know each other and pursue their thoughts more closely, a cocktail reception will bring the morning to a close.
